Savings Account:

The Hopeton State Bank Passbook Savings Accounts are a great way to start your own personal financial plan. They are also just right for encouraging children to work toward financial goals of their own. A minimum deposit of $50.00 opens this account. A service fee of $6.00 will be imposed every statement cycle if the average daily balance for the savings falls below $10.00. The average daily balance is calculated by adding the principal in the account for each day of the period and dividing that figure by the number of days in the period. The period we use is quarterly. Interest is compounded and credited to your account quarterly. You are allowed up to nine withdrawals per quarter at no charge. A fee of $1.00 per withdrawal will be charged for each withdrawal in excess of nine per quarter.

Transaction Limitations:

Withdrawals or other transfers from a Savings account to another account or to third parties by preauthorized, automatic, telephone, or computer transfer are limited to six per month with no transfers by check, or similar order to third parties.Our Passbook Savings Accounts are ATM accessible.
